The Clinical Team

Care led by Syam Kunam, MD.

Every Deep TMS protocol delivered at IPMG TMS — across 33 Southern California locations — is selected and overseen by our psychiatry team. Day-to-day sessions are administered by credentialed TMS technicians under that supervision.

Founder & Medical Director, IPMG TMS

Syam Kunam, MD

Board-Certified Psychiatrist

Dr. Syam Kunam founded IPMG TMS to bring rigorously delivered, evidence-based Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to the patients of Southern California. As medical director of Inland Psychiatric Medical Group, he has built one of the largest TMS-equipped psychiatric networks in the region — 33 locations from Lancaster to San Juan Capistrano, each with both BrainsWay H1 and H7 systems on site.

Dr. Kunam is board-certified in psychiatry. His clinical focus is treatment-resistant depression, anxious depression, and complex polypharmacy cases where conventional pharmacotherapy has not produced remission. He oversees the TMS protocols, treatment selection, and quality program across all IPMG TMS locations.

Patients work with Dr. Kunam and the IPMG TMS clinical team for an initial consultation, motor-threshold mapping, and ongoing oversight throughout their course of care. Day-to-day sessions are administered by credentialed TMS technicians under the medical supervision of the IPMG TMS psychiatry team.

The Wider Team

How care is delivered.

IPMG TMS operates within Inland Psychiatric Medical Group’s 33-location network. Clinical oversight is provided by board-certified psychiatrists across the network, with TMS-protocol direction from Dr. Kunam and the IPMG TMS clinical lead. Sessions themselves are administered by credentialed TMS technicians who have completed BrainsWay-specific training on the H1 and H7 systems.

We are actively expanding the published roster on this page — bios for our additional psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and TMS technicians will be added as they complete credentialing review for public-facing publication. If you would like to know which specific clinicians staff a particular location, our care coordinators can tell you at consultation.

Take the next step.

A consultation with the IPMG TMS team is a careful conversation: are you a candidate, what would your protocol look like, what does your insurance cover, and where in our 33-location network would you be treated. Call (909) 707-6261 and leave a voicemail, or email Jogendra.Singh@inlandpsych.com — a care coordinator will return your message.
